MV Agusta Brutale

The Brutale series of motorcycles are manufactured by MV Agusta of Italy. Its style is classified as a naked bike and the series consists of several models powered by either 749.5 cc or 909.1 cc inline-four, dohc-engines.

This is one of those bikes whose names are the completely apt for their characters. Take a gorgeous looking MV Agusta F4, strip it down, give it more pulling power lower down the rev range, higher handlebars, and this is what you end up with- the MV Agusta Brutale, still gorgeous, still fast; but with manic acceleration and street cred. One of the most fearsome streetfighters out there, this beast makes even the best go weak in their knees. But it has to be that, what with competition from bullish bikes like the Ducati Streetfighter, Triumph Speed Triple, Aprillia Tuono and such.

Also, it comes with pure racing heritage of MV Agusta, a name as synonymous with motorcycle racing as a tomato to pasta. Or cheese to burger. Or soy sauce to noodles. But whether your the European, American of Asian, this bike will appeal to you almost instantly. Menacing to look at, but also inviting. Though guts of steel are mandatory to absolutely thrash this bike, you would still want one.

Standard models include the Brutale 750SBrutale 910SBrutale 910R and new for 2008 Brutale 1078RR. In September 2009, MV Agusta revealed two new 2010 Brutale models - the 990R and 1090RR. The latest addition in 2012 is the new Brutale 675 in an attempt to bring the company back to profitability.
